We offer a four-day overnight leadership development program at no cost to students, families, or schools.
Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis and you will hear from us if you are selected to attend the program!

The power of active listening, questioning, and dialogue.
TORCH helps students explore how to communicate effectively with others, incorporating active listening, inquisitive thinking, rapport building, empathy, public speaking. Some of our key programs that expand horizons are listed below.
Service
Promoting integrity, advancing global goodwill and peace.
Servant-leadership is the guiding principle of TORCH and we help orient students to be empowered to be change agents in their local community through mission-driven projects. Some of our key programs that focus on service are listed below.
Ethics & Responsibility
Encouraging upstander behavior around values.
TORCH helps build confidence in students to act in alignment with their own personal values and encouraging ethical decision making as they grow in their leadership capacity. Some of our key programs that focus on ethics and responsibility are listed below.
Goal Setting
Inspiring people to achieve what they put their mind to.
The ability to develop, visualize, and plan to achieve S.M.A.R.T. goals is a key takeaway from TORCH, in order to help students live up to their full potential and purpose. Some of our key programs that focus on goal setting are listed below.
Self Awareness
Respecting and acknowledging ourselves for who we are.
TORCH provides space for students to build a better understanding of what makes them a unique leader in their own right, as well as how to celebrate their unique strengths as individuals. Some of our key programs that focus on self awareness are listed below.
Problem Solving
Building mental flexibility and creative thinking.
Students are put into the driver seat at TORCH to figure out what approach is best for all concerned, incorporating many points of view and using creativity to solve important problems. Some of our key programs that focus on problem solving are listed below.
Empathy & Vulnerability
Caring for others and allowing others to care for you.
TORCH provides a brave space for students to put themselves in others’ shoes and share their own personal stories to connect with their peers on a deeper level. Some of our key programs that focus on empathy and vulnerability are listed below.
Teamwork
Recognizing that the greatest goals are achieved by teams.
Students are placed randomly in teams of 8-10 and are consistently challenged with games, activities, and simulations to build their skills at working together. Some of our key programs that focus on teamwork are listed below.
