To the lifelong pursuit of ethical, visionary leadership

We provide fun and engaging opportunities for young people to explore their own unique leadership skills.

Our programming is based on leading educational research (experiential learning, challenge/support, social-emotional learning) as well as our self-developed methods and learning practices.

Our Vision

Who We Are

“Good leaders must first become good servants.”
- Robert Greenleaf

Many members of the TORCH staff have worked together on student development for over 25 years, representing a diversity of ages, careers, and professions.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life and are committed to youth leadership development. They founded TORCH as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity in early 2020 after working together in this space since 1995 and deciding to build their own organization.

Our mission is to empower the next generation of leaders through immersive and transformative experiences in order to cultivate personal development and meaningful connections.

Our Staff Structure

Student Empowerment

Our staff structure creates opportunities for students to lead their peers and become better role models, extending the servant leadership and experiential learning into participants early adulthood and onward.

What We're About

We believe that when you put students in positions to lead, they will rise to the occasion.  Everything is “challenge by choice” and when students push outside of their comfort zone, that’s when the growth happens.

Problem Solving

More engaged, active, and productive clubs

Connection

Stronger bonds in teams and classes

Motivation

Inspiration to try new things

Interpersonal Skills
